Convienient for NEC comfortable good breakfast good pricesample parking
Excellent value for money and very convenient location with easy access from local major road network.
First room No313 had not been serviced, but I was supplied with room No 113 which was excellent
The staff were very pleasant and helpful a home from home
Catching up with alterations to restore it to a quality venue.
very helpful staff bargain for price
The best bit of the stay was the breakfast and checking out we will not be staying there again.
Hotel under refurbishment and this was not mentioned when we booked the room. Carpet not hoovered in the bedroom, cups dirty only rinsed under tap, water still in them. Long dark hair on bathroom floor not been washed. No sleep throughout the night was put next to the lift.Went to the bar at 10.15pm no staff around, one local lady called down to reception to say they had customers. Went to the bar again at 11pm only to find no staff all grills locked down on bar, no last orders called again same lady called to reception to ask what time they closed and told we where waiting. When staff arrived I asked what time they closed to residence and was told it was 24hrs bar.Service was very poor all over the complex.
It was a convenient location and that was the main reason for booking there.
On arrival the older receptionist was efficient, not overly welcoming with no directions to our room or mention of time / location of breakfast. In room tv did not work properly with poor reception, bin in bathroom was used. We realised there would be disruption due to the building work but in the bar in the evening it was freezing cold as external doors were left open & the bar area was in a poor state. At breakfast the 2 staff members did not speak to us on arrival - did not advise it was all self service inc the tea / coffee. Outside the Berkeley Suite the building work area was terrible, had to be careful I did not trip over anything!
Nothing, I have used this hotel for a number of years but this stay was my worst experience yet. I had to pay £10 extra above the price quoted on thew web.
Poor service, Construction work going on and generally dirty.I had to pay an extra £10 in addition to the price stated on the web.
Please write at least 15 wordsll Local to fishing lakes and golf course
No orange juice at breakfast, hot water took ages to run hot, heating was off when we arrived so room was cold.
Convience of site, near to the city and NEC.Car parking facilities were welcome.Ideal place to visit near by sightseeing cities.
Work going on during our stay was a little inconvient.Odour in the bathroom could have been eradicted with good ventilation fans.
The staff were all very helpful and efficient. Facilities were acceptable. The pub next door was great and the locals most welcoming.
The hotel was very basic and could do with some updating. Breakfast, although plentiful, was not that amazing. The room had not been hoovered, especially under the bed and the cleaning was only perfunctory.
The hotel is reasonably large with good sized rooms, a large car park and easy access into Coventry.
The hotel was probably last refurbished in the early 70s and is very dated with lots of dark wood etc. The wood next to the lifts and in lots of other places was scuffed. The hotel is now being refurbished however so I guess things will improve. The noise / mess from the refurbishment seems to have been kept to a minumum and wasn't a problem. Having said that for £38 including breakfast I'd stay again. Avoid the bar meals, they are cheep but not very appertising, the pub next door is probably a better bet,
bedroom floor dirty and breakfast of poor quality and service
